For the best Mother’s Day (and Life) EVER!:
1. Forgive your Mom for EVERYTHING – all the hurts, overlooks, discipline, mistakes, harshness, over-indulgence, under-indulgence, lack of affection, too much affection, criticisms, feedback, advice you didn’t want, advice you didn’t get, absence, too much presence, EVERYTHING that caused you pain or negatively impacted your life. EVERYTHING!
2. Accept she did her best. Just accept that under the circumstances, she did the best she could do with what she had and who she was. Accept that her intentions were never to hurt you in any way – and even in her pain, if she had that thought, it wasn’t what she preferred. She wanted to love you and show it all the time but sometimes things just aren’t as easy as they sound. Simply accept that under the circumstances of her life, she did her best.
3. Say sorry for the rest. For all the things you did that caused her pain, inadvertently or directly… apologize. Apologize for causing pain in areas and, at times when you were even unaware. Be deeply sorry and your actions will be aligned.
Take these steps today and your days will be filled with lasting joy, peace and love.
