Hola!
Isn’t that some seriously creative use of space? I love it. It’s inspiring and so VERY clever. Most people walked past that wall every day and just saw an empty or even an ugly wall.
As I viewed it I started thinking about the artist and how great s/he must have felt upon completing it. And while doing it too, for that matter.
I also got to thinking about I just to think I wasn’t a creative person – because I couldn’t draw or paint a picture. I actually thought that!
Perhaps you think that way as well… let me encourage you to think of these other considerations when you reflect on whether you are a creative person or not.
Of course creativity has to do with creating beautiful art – big and small, paintings and buildings and, singing and dancing in such a way as to touch and inspire others.
It also has to do with approaching life from a perspective of being a creator of things – relationships, products, outfits, flower arrangements, gardens, closets – especially super tight ones, events, vacations, etc. And what about managing time, making connections and solving problems? Doesn’t it take some creativity to navigate through the ton of challenges that get sent our way each day?
Indeed it does.
If you think from the perspective of being a creative person, a creator of the best life ( through daily activity) you can possibly live and you approach each day looking for ways to create that reality – through kindness, fun, optimism and solutions, you are so very creative.
“Mining for solutions” is a great way to proactively approach each day — the challenges WILL come so we may as well have a creative mindset about mining for solutions.
And the other thing… who is to say, even if you are not gifted with an ability to draw, paint, sing or dance, or any of the arts – that you couldn’t get better in those areas? 🙂
Go for it! Being creative is your birthright – it’s in your DNA!
Have a blissfully creative day my friend.
Wishing you an abundance of joy, love and creativity,
Julette Millien
