Hello Hello…we still have people joining us so Welcome to you if this is the first message you are receiving on our 21-day kindness adventure. It is so good to have you on board. 🙂

So…we’ve been focusing on the SELF and then RELATIONSHIPS venues for the first 6 days.
The logic? If we are not first kind to our self, we will not be truly kind to others. Relationships are in every venue of life and so focusing on that venue next was logical.
I hope you are writing in your kindness journal and just having a wonderful time consciously and intentionally spreading the powerful and healing miracle of kindness wherever you go. And yes, please continue to share with us, it is SO inspiring to read what others are doing. I have gotten many ideas to incorporate into my life and projects. Thank you!
Today, tomorrow and the next day we will focus on the HOME venue.
Wherever home is, even if it is a temporary home away from home, let us focus on that very important venue. This is where you are recharged and energized to do all that you do in the world. This venue ideally should be peaceful and conducive to joy and relaxation. If this is not the case for you, [I know this is something many people take for granted] it’s even more important for you to find that place of inner peace and then be very creative with how you hold on to that space.
We’ve had people at war journeying with us in the past {on these 21-day adventures} so if this message is being read by anyone in that situation, please know I am mindful of the challenge of finding inner peace in the midst of chaos. And I know this might apply to some of us who are caught up in dramas at home. Finding inner peace is essential.
IDEALLY, the HOME venue should be one of peace, joy and conducive to creativity, relaxation, inspiration and rest…so assess your home venue and determine where you can perform some acts of kindness to get it to be MORE of these things.
Today, assess and reflect. Then do as many of these suggestions as you’d like:
- Take one room and make it clearer and lighter by removing unwanted or ‘not needed’ items – this will provide you with some needed clearance and lightness in spirit and mind…
- Make your bed more inviting – whatever that means to you – taking away or adding pillows, changing sheets, covering with something beautiful, adding a symbol of love and invitation to rest…
- Organize the front of your home and the inside entrance and make it more welcoming to you and all who pass by
- Make a meal that has fabulous aromatic value..:-)
- Leave love notes for you and the other inhabitants, scattered throughout the home
- Say hello to a neighbor you’ve never spoken to before
- Offer to shovel, sweep or clean-up a neighbor’s yard – especially great for an elder neighbor
- Deliver a meal or a flower or plant or balloons to a neighbor who would really appreciate it – someone you know is under some stress
- Offer to keep the children of a neighbor and give them/her/him a few hours of free time
- Bathe or groom your pets and give them a fresh chewy toy
- Do a household chore for a room-mate or child and leave a smiley note saying you did it because they are so wonderful
- Find a corner of your home, room, apartment or surrounding area and make it your private space for quiet reflection – place symbolic items there, if large enough, place a chair or pillow and let that space be your private and sacred space where kind thoughts can be born.
With that last suggestion…work on carrying the energy of that space around with you throughout the day.
I am SO excited about this journey with you! 🙂
Stay in touch and spread kindness wherever you go today.
Wishing you an abundance of joy, love and peace,
Julette
