Hello there! [ Day 15 of our 21-Day Kindness Adventure – see previous messages here ]
Being kind at home, with loved ones and friends and at work with colleagues and staff, classmates and customers can many times be SO much easier than taking BOLD stands and venturing into the unknown territory of strangers, public perceptions and going beyond the comfort zone. So often the “comfort zone” becomes the “stuck zone” so this is just a little reminder to flex your kindness muscles, dig deeper and stretch a bit.
I challenge you today to do something you are fearful of doing as far as kindness in your community, place of worship or just as you go about your usual routines – buying food, fuel, services, walking, paying bills…just as you move about your day.
Pick something that you KNOW would be very nice to do for a person or for people in general but you have always avoided that kind of activity and just do it. Stretch yourself. Grow in kindness. Grow in love.
Are you stuck for ideas? Take a look at yesterday’s message OR just be still for a moment and I bet you something pops into your heart and your first reaction might be “I can’t do THAT!” Well, that’s a great example of exactly what you can do.
If you want to stay vibrant, joy-filled and fully alive, do something challenging as often as you can…ESPECIALLY if it blesses other people.
OK…that’s your challenge for today 🙂 But don’t forget to read your love-note to yourself and today the random and spontaneous, daily act of kindness can be the challenge above.
Have FUN… A LOT of FUN with this today.
Wishing you an ABUNDANT supply of love, courage, joy and light today and always,
Julette
