Hello My Friend,
This article arrived by email this morning and surprisingly I read it, right away. ..probably because I sensed something might be missing. I thought I’d share it with you as it has some great advice within. Go here for more ► http://bit.ly/XDAVbe
I don’t disagree with any of these wise seven: Friday will be fabulous; When I change, the whole world changes; Be kind; Live every week like it’s Shark Week; Scarlett was right; A** in the chair and Om.
Here’s the one I would add though…the top and most powerful way to get through a “horrible” anything – moment, day, week or event: There is no such thing as HORRIBLE (substitute any word you’d like) as “horrible is in the eye of the beholder!”
If in the midst of ANY moment or situation, you remember who you are and where your strength comes from and that with a change in perspective, you can in fact TURN ANY SITUATION into something usable or at the very least, ‘handle-able, you will remain calm enough to have the most potent response.
When you are in the midst of something and you are tempted to label it “horrible” or “terrible” or any such negative description, stop yourself, stay calm and give it another name or none at all. It just “is” and it’s up to you to make it what it has to be for you to make the most out of it.
The next time an opportunity presents itself say this…
“Horrible is in the eye of the beholder, and I see_____________ (opportunity, challenges, people’s pain, what is, life…).”
Define it if you must, but don’t label it in a way that limits your options. Keep your power to create the life and responses of your choosing.
Try this on for a day and see how it works!
Wishing you an abundance of peace, joy and light,
~♥~
