Hello Brave and Wonderful Participant of “21-Day Detox Challenge ~ Mind, Body & Spirit!” 🙂
Excited can hardly describe the sensation as my fingers touch these keys! My goodness…so much going on with this program!
It’s a really good thing that folks invited their friends and there is no ‘but’ about that. As a result of the many invitations our numbers exceeded the Facebook limits and all messaging was denied.
So – this message will be posted at the Habits that Help blog and on the Facebook event wall.
Until the numbers change (requires both time and effort) we will deal with these limitations and see them as wonderful challenges, even as proof that this will be a TRANSFORMATIONAL experience.
You know how before major events, things tend to get a bit hectic…well this is one MAJOR event in your life so why wouldn’t it be a little hectic?
These technical issues will be sorted out. The group will be made public again –had to make it private to stop the numbers from rising as we found just as quickly as a batch of names was deleted more was being added.
Until then we will proceed with the planning and preparation phase of our program.
We have this week to plan, prepare and get ready…those of you anxious to jump right in, my advice is to honor the process and get the planning done as well as you would like the outcomes to be. Do you want the most outrageously successful 21 days? Then spend this week doing all that is needed to get you there. We do tend to practice the way we play.
Next Monday – 10/18 – will be DAY ONE of the actual detox.
By now, per the guidelines the following should be done:
- All forms – self-eval, 21-Day chart and agreement with self – should be downloaded, printed and housed in a folder or binder
- A notebook/journal, labeled and already started – with your intentions, anticipated challenges and planned responses…
- An accountability partner lined up with agreement in place about frequency of contact and shared intentions, etc
If you have not completed these I URGE you to get them done before moving forward.
Now for today:
- Begin a food log in your journal – recording the items you consume with relative quantities
- Think of how you will get your 30 minutes of activity done 5x per week – think also of the resistance you will have and have a plan for action INSPITE of resistance and emotions
- Finish this sentence…I am assuming outrageous success with this 21-day detox program because I am bringing this to the table:________________________________.
- Begin reflecting on your self-talk…what is your inner dialogue like? Are you mostly supporting yourself or are you filled with doubt about completing this challenge at your highest and best? Spend 3 minutes of each hour, watching and observing your spontaneous thoughts…then spend a few minutes recording what you observed
- Make a list of the top five most inspiring people you know and can have conversations with during this program
- Make a list of the top five things you LOVE to do for fun…positive things that pick you up
- Review your self-eval and circle and place a big star next to the items with a rating of 9 or higher – these are your areas of strength; place a box around those items with less – this is where you are ‘boxed in’ and over the next 21 days, need to BUST OUT! 🙂
- Share those stars and boxes with others – you’ll be amazed at how much freedom we gain by sharing and helping others!
- Spend a few minutes (2-4) being still and just let your imagination go free with what your world will be like when the intention/goal you have set for this program’s impact on your life is realized
- Prepare yourself to have a tremendous amount of fun and excitement as you take these action steps. Prepare as if you are going on a much anticipated trip, exploring and uncovering the gems of your unique brilliance.
It will be what you DECIDE it will be.
Wishing you an abundance of joy & light,
Julette Millien ♥~

Hi there — OF COURSE you can. 🙂 Let me know if you do…and get some other folks to do it with you. A group helps with keeping the energy up and the motivation high.
