The following message was sent to the Facebook event participants of 21-Day Detox Challenge – Mind, Body & Spirit on Day 2 or our journey. All previous messages can be found here. The Facebook event is here and the video introduction is here. You can still join – we began on October 18th – but you can start at any point and do the program as prescribed.
Hello!
Several of you have written about how challenging day 1 was for you and I completely understand. The excitement of starting carried me through but it was not easy to create the space for all the challenges. I had to be very creative with how I managed my day. The hardest part for me was the ‘not complaining or grumbling or muttering” thing. My goodness! How easy it is to mumble and grumble! 🙂
When I stopped myself the 3rd or 4th time, my son – 15 year old – said “so you’ll be doing this for 21 days huh? hmm…you can’t get upset with me, very interesting!”
Well I heard that as a challenge and though he chuckled instead of answering my “what do you mean” question, clearly he saw an opportunity in this for him. lol
So listen wonderful people…yesterday was not easy and I’m sure some things did not get completed. So what do you have to do TOday?
You must forgive yourself and move it along. If you don’t, yesterday’s baggage comes into today as a hindrance, not a help.
Please take a look at thisdaily forgivneess ritual, follow the instructions and you’ll find yourself highly productive during this detox. Remember, negative emotions are toxic so you don’t want them lingering in your body, mind or spirit for any length of time.
Use your challenge chart to guide you and even to encourage you throughout the day. [I love to see the beautiful little check marks in my boxes! :-)]
Wishing you an abundance of peace, light and joy,
Julette
