[This 21-day series — 21 Days of Action with Kindness is also a Facebook event. If you’re on Facebook you are invited to join us… Day 1 was January 25, 2011. Here is a link to day 1’s message and suggestions ► http://bit.ly/eYZT8V ]
I hope you had a very wonderful day yesterday, spreading the power of small acts of kindness. 🙂
On the event wall from Marion Ruth George is this gem
“Even just thinking about being kind changes my frame of reference for the day.”
Isn’t that the truth!! Thanks Marion.
Today I suggest you do the following acts of kindness:
Self Venue:
- As an act of kindness for YOU, think about all the wonderful things you are grateful for. Throughout the day, reflect on all you have and this evening before retiring, write a little about each thing. Even if it’s just a list, record your gratitude. This act of kindness will lift your spirit and help you to be even more kind to all those around you.
Relationship Venue:
- Pick a young person and tell them what you think about their best qualities. Give them examples of their ‘best qualities’ (from your perspective) so they can know what is working really well in their life and how to do more of it.
Your Choice:
[The Five Vital VenuesTM are Self, Relationships, Work/School, Home, Community/Place of Worship]
- Again, pick any venue, any person and let something spontaneous flow from you to them. [This can be as “small” or I should say as quick as a sincere smile or word of encouragement]
Have fun…and spread the power of kindness in our world. We do need it so. 🙂 And the more fun you have the more it’ll spread!
Get creative…and tell us about it so we can try it in our corner of the world.
Have a magnificent day/evening being kind,
Julette
