3 R’s – Power Steps:
1) RECALL – Reflecting back, which issues still pop into your mind from time to time? Which people do you still carry a grudge for? Recall the feelings the troublesome events caused and allow them to exist as you observe… how would you describe the feeling? Visualize you in the present supporting and showing compassion to that earlier version of you. Show her/him love. Write about those feelings.
2) RELEASE – Imagine yourself breathing those feelings into a balloon (and a great idea to do this for real) and release the balloon into the air. Release those feelings, have a ceremony, say good-bye, be grateful for the lessons learned through the pain, write about it (releasing them) in your journal, celebrate your lightness…
3) RECLAIM – With the space created in your heart and head by releasing the negative energy of the past, reclaim your power over your life. Reclaim your spirit of love and creative productivity. Reclaim your grace, goodness and kindness to all. Just reclaim your life!
P.S. And consistent pain doesn’t necessarily feel like pain.
Indifference, sadness, depression, being “stuck,” procrastination, irritability, anxiety, numbness, doubt, fear… so many masks of pain!Recall, Release, Reclaim your power!
