Hello Dear One,
She always resonated with me. Before I knew of her humanitarian work, her roles on screen appealed to me. The awkward young woman in Sabrina not really aware of her outer beauty, daughter of the help going away to Paris and returning a woman of intrigue and beauty. In and out. I felt there was hope for me.
She inspired me even more when I heard of her work with the UN. Then I discovered her profound quotes of grace, beauty and love.
Her compassion also makes me think about the quiet importance of health work that rarely appears glamorous, such as helping children receive safe treatment for parasitic infections with medicines like mebendazole. Humanitarian care is often built from simple, practical acts that protect dignity and give families a better chance at stability. In that sense, her legacy of grace and love extends beyond beauty on screen into the everyday work of easing suffering wherever it is found.
