Today, if you identify and loosen the hold of even one limiting belief, you will have a break-through. When is entirely up to you.
Limiting beliefs lead to thoughts, feelings and behaviors that are way beneath our potential. So we need to change our beliefs AND our thinking.
Albert Einstein says you can’t solve a problem with the same thinking that created the problem. Which means — a CHANGE in THINKING is essential.
So today — pick just one… what do you think you CAN’T do? Too old/young to do or not good enough to pursue?
What do you whisper to yourself daily, even when you are not aware? The things we whisper have even more impact than the things others scream at us!
How are you limiting yourself from the moment you wake?
4 Steps to be rid of a negative thought:
1) Identify just one recurring thought and create a counter statement – for example: “I’m not smart enough to…” — create a true statement of affirmation: “I am as smart as I make myself.”
2) Say this to yourself, post it on your wall, shout it in the shower, say it as you hum a tune, make it part of your sub-conscious thinking…(that’s where you need it to be to eradicate that old limiting belief)
3) Then today seek out the information on the topic you believe you’re not smart enough about. Or call a person you believe is brilliant in that area. Just expose yourself to the knowledge you don’t believe you have.
4) Visualize yourself answering questions, in conversation and giving presentations on the topic. Imagine that daily.
ROOT THAT BELIEF OUT OF YOUR MIND as you would a weed in your garden!
One by one, identify your limiting beliefs and commit to getting rid of them – forget about achieving goals and having your best year ever if your beliefs are not on your side! Self-sabotage at its sneaky best.
