This is no mere cute headline! The three words you need to speak, feel and deeply mean are: “I forgive ALL.”
Think back – perhaps you don’t have to go so far back – to the last time you were less than at peace, feeling joy or giving love, do you recall the reason?
Were you upset about something you or someone else did or didn’t do?
Was there something in your heart that was unresolved; some source of anxiety?
Were you dissatisfied, disappointed or disgusted with something or the other?
Perhaps you were numb and not really feeling very much at all?
Was regret, guilt or shame a part of it?
If any one of these 5 questions hits near the truth…or you know of a similar question that would be more on point, you have some baggage in the way of your blessings.
WHATEVER negativity exists in your heart or your mind, it represents darkness, weight and blockage. To rid yourself of it…ALL… so you can be free to feel the lightness of peace, joy and love, forgiveness is the answer.
“I forgive ALL” – Why “ALL?” Because adding that little three letter word brings the power and intention of forgiveness into action. When you say and mean that you “forgive all,” you are saying, “with no qualifications, no conditions no “buts,” I forgive ALL! Everyone and everything: Things of yesterday, today and tomorrow; big things and small things, ALL OF IT!
THAT is powerful and it gets you to a mindset of forgiveness, not just a forgiving act here and there.
These are just three of the many benefits of forgiving:
PEACE
The peace comes as you decide to drop it and move forward. When you commit to freeing yourself of whatever is upsetting you, you are making a decision that your peace of mind is more important to you than “being right,” “having a right to be upset” and/or your shame or guilt about whatever it is that took place. When you decide that NOTHING trumps your peace, peace will come.
JOY
The joy will be felt when the space is created. Move the negativity and darkness out of the way with the light of forgiveness and the joy will be able to flow. Your joy literally gets trapped, stuck in the rut of negativity. Once you are free to feel joy, like a snowball rolling down a hill it will gather more joy along the way. Then as you become more productive and creative in your work (mental and emotional space tends to lead to this) even more joy will be experienced. Just imagine it – being free to take on projects and get things done at the highest level possible, doesn’t that feel so good?
LOVE
And of course, when you forgive you are in fact giving yourself the best gift of all; LOVE! It is a gift to yourself, to love yourself so much that you become free. To do the work of forgiveness is not easy – it may be a simple sounding concept but for many it is just not easy. The humility that’s required takes great courage and maturity; Denying your precious (but small) emotions, perhaps in place for a very long time, takes more personal strength than many of us believe we have; but we do!
We are each capable of forgiveness, the highest form of love. What any one of us can do, the other can as well: It’s just how we are created. We have an innate ability to renew our self at will, with every thought and emotion. With just one positive, powerful thought at a crucial moment, we can create a new reality with a fresh approach, a new perspective and a clean slate – all with just one right thought! From right thought/emotion flows right action.
Forgiving Self
Sometimes – oftentimes we are stuck, not forgiving other people because we have not forgiven our self. We may not even be conscious of something we are holding against our self. Guilt and shame have a way of burrowing in corners of our heart and mind we seldom visit. So think about it.
Be still and allow yourself to just listen to your inner voice.
What do you secretly wish you can do differently?
What are your regrets and possible sources of shame and/or guilt?
What can you release today?
Spend some time listening, writing and perhaps talking about these things…and then decide to take back your personal power. You see, the things we feel shame or guilt about are the things, thoughts and feelings that are in control of our actions and outcomes.
Take your power back, accept what is, grab the lessons and move forward with confidence into your life!
Say with passion, deep sincerity and profound intention, as often as you think of it:
“I Forgive ALL!”
You’ll find an endless supply of peace, joy and love awaiting you.
Wishing you an abundance of life, light and love,
~♥~
